What to Expect

Consultation

Dr. Etemadi takes time to truly understand your health history, current symptoms, and goals — not a rushed 5-minute intake.

Examination

A thorough orthopedic and neurological exam identifies the source of your pain and how your spine and nervous system are functioning.

X-Rays (If Applicable)

Digital X-rays are taken at the doctor's discretion, based on the area being treated. When indicated, on-site imaging gives Dr. Etemadi a clear picture of your spinal alignment so nothing is left to guesswork.

First Treatment

Your $49 special includes 1 session of Softwave TRT or Spinal Decompression. For chiropractic care first visits, we accept insurance — or a full self-pay visit including consultation, exam, X-rays, passive therapies, and a chiropractic adjustment.

Before You Arrive

What to Bring to Your First Appointment

  • 🏥   Insurance card(s) — health, auto, or workers' comp
  • 📷   Any previous imaging: MRI, CT scan, or X-rays
  • 💊   List of current medications and supplements
  • 📄   Previous medical records related to your condition (if available)
  • 📝   Notes on your symptoms: when they started, what makes them better or worse

Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your appointment to complete new patient paperwork. You can also call ahead to receive forms by email.

A Note on Specialized Treatments

We accept insurance for chiropractic adjustments. For chiropractic first visits, we also offer a full self-pay visit that includes the consultation, exam, X-rays, passive therapies, and chiropractic adjustment. Softwave TRT and Spinal Decompression are self-pay services — insurance does not currently cover them. We've created affordable flat-rate packages ($500–$5,000 based on your specific needs) so you can access these advanced treatments without financial stress. Please call us to discuss your options.

New Patient Questions

How long will my first appointment take?
Plan for approximately 60–90 minutes for your first visit. This includes the consultation, exam, X-rays, and your first treatment session. Follow-up visits are typically 30–45 minutes.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is needed to see Dr. Etemadi. You can call us directly at (832) 995-7832 or use the form on this page to request an appointment.
What should I wear?
Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing is best. If you have back or hip issues, athletic shorts or pants are ideal. Avoid wearing a belt if possible. You'll remain fully clothed during your examination and treatment.
Can I bring my children?
Of course — Dr. Etemadi treats patients of all ages, including children and teens. If you'd like to schedule pediatric care for your child, please let the front desk know when booking so they can allocate appropriate time.
